I love my job working for a university, but I miss working with primary and secondary school students. So now I've returned to tutoring. I've tutored students at all grade levels in a number of different topics, but I recently have been working with students at the fourth grade level and up on study skills, organization, and reading. I believe younger students must be motivated to learn successfully, so I will work alongside my students to find resources and books that interest them, and I will put together a lesson plan with activities and other engaging elements. In my free time, I like to hike, kayak, spend time with friends, read, and cheer on my son in sports.
